Get the download tool. Windows 10
Run it.
It gives two options: Upgrade and Download.
If upgrade works, great.
If not, download the ISO. Mount it. Run setup from it inside Windows.
Yup. Download the ISO. Combo edition that includes both 32-64Bit to be on the safe side. No need to burn it even. Just copy it to the machine. Mount it (Windows 8 has internal support) and run Setup!
Windows could not verify my key. I am not sure what went wrong. but it is going ahead with the install . so what's going to be status post install - that I upgraded from a pirated copy #angry
Well. It should get activated automatically. I did read that if the upgrader asks for a key, just bypass that screen and it should not be an issue with automated activation after upgradation.
