Windows Laptop with 12 hour battery life

Please suggest me a windows laptop with 12 + hours battery life. Budget : 50k to 70k

right but how is Apple mac m1 able to get 10-12 hours real usage battery life ?

Thats a whole other topic to explore... search for YouTube videos about it, but basically it is due to Apple switching the CPU to much more power efficiency ARM architecture and also tightly integration of various specialised modules for things like audio video encoding and decoding and even the RAM is tightly integrated.

Basically the majority of the parts are soldered together onto same chip so to speak.

Results in excellent battery life and at the same time superior performance.

Plus Apple is the major primary investor in TSMC which makes the best chips currently supplying Apple with tiny 5 nanometer level while others like AMD are still on 7nm.

Thumb rule : Before buying a laptop deeply study the repair/support manual. That will give you all the information about how easy it is to repair/upgrade and what all components you can mess around with. I went with Precision 7760 because of the solid upgradability.

Running docker, 4-5 hours web development, couple of web series, few hours of songs.

Ram usage will be at higher end like 10-12 gbs .

Will it last for 12 hours?

I doubt you will get 22 hours more likely 6 to 8 max.

Also check out HP pavilion 14 laptop model dv0054tu which has latest 11th gen i5 and 16gb 512gb with wifi 6 and fingerprint reader.

I get around 4 to 6 hours with my usage of doing coding, compilation and some music and YouTube playback.

Linux works well on it except for the fingerprint reader.

lol. your laptop cost more than Rs. 3 lakhs.

It does but if you see most of the Dell laptops are repair and upgrade friendly. I checked out laptops from Lenovo, they even solder the RAM!

Doesn't Samsung have a laptop with a Snapdragon processor? That should have similar battery life to the M1 Mac. But I am guessing Windows App ARM support is going to be quite poor

Thats a 1.83 lakh laptop . Sun k acha lga but out of budget

I had nightmare experience with HP when i used it last time. I think it was year 2006. Since then i used Dell and lenovo. But let me check this model as well
