Wireless networks in India

Hello,

I provide wireless networking solutions in UK. I would like to know what are the procedures of setting up of wireless networks in India.

It sounds rather funny but I actually want to know what legal hassels are there to put a wireless network. Does a company or individual need to take special permissions etc., what channel and frequency is allowed in india etc.

Its quite easy in India... Find someone who can fund Black portion of money, go find some power broker and that will take care of all spectrum and wattage hassles.Otherwise, its just not possible since most of the spectrum is held up by govt departments (defense/DOT....).And on "Open Frequencies" like 2.4 wattage is severely restricted.
