Hi everyone. As i am having an sify broadband connection. Can i connect it wirelessly using my Laptop. If then can you provide me the procedure. It would be very useful for me. Thanks.
remove the sify's cat5 cable from your lan card & connect it to the router's "internet" port. take another cat5 cable & connect it from any of the ethernet ports on the router to your lan card (on desktop). install the drivers for your router & configure it, i.e. your ip address, default gateway, etc.
install sify bb on your notebook & connect to the wireless network u just made. click on sify's icon & try to login, u will get an error, invalid mac id.
very imp.: call sify & tell them to add another mac id, i.e. of the router
