I highly doubt Mi4 will be released simultaneously in India. But if it is, trouble will be in figuring out the expected price for the device. Does one lap up the Mi3 before stocks run out or does one wait for July 22 only to know that Mi4 will not be releasing in India, or not releasing with the same price competitiveness as was given to the Mi3. Their FB page has also not hinted at anything about Mi4 coming to India.

As for metal body, does not the Mi3 have a metal back? Or is it plastic? Because if it is the former you never know, FK might be referring to the same phone.

They can't possibly start pre-booking for the Mi4 starting tomorrow as neither the specs nor the price will be known before the launch event.

Right. MI 3 is already confirmed because Xiaomi itself announced the launch date to be July 15. Launching two generations of the same phone on one day? No company can be that stupid.

mi3 is a year old phone.

mi4 if priced well should be a great deal. assuming it comes with 4.4 out of the box. should be easily upgradable to L unlike former.
