Xolo Q800 X edition

I wanted a mobile under 10k and after searching, bought Xolo q800 X Edition. Already have seen Xolo A500S ,Xolo Q1100 with dad and hence decided to go to xolo again. Its not like there are many great phones under 10k. Wanted to buy Lumia 525 but again felt windows is too restrictive.

Maybe you live in a big city, I live in a remote village in tamilnadu thats why its taking this much time :numbness: I just call from courier guy, I'll be getting my delivery in few hours time :pleasantry:
I'll post a detailed review once I get used to the device. 24 hours of battery life in any android for less than Rs.15k is amazing. I usually keep my wifi on 24x7, so lets see how much time I get

Either 3g/2g or WiFi is constantly running on my phone so don't fret :) heard that having only one sim active instead of two saves more battery life ..don't know how much is true

Err my first choice would be moto G or xolo q1100(both have same Snapdragon processor). If strictly under 10k , xolo q800 x edition or q900 or q700s(all these phones are virtually same phones with just different screen sizes). Q800 and q700 are outdated. If windows ,then you have choice other than 525.

By other than 525 you mean the 520? Moto G out of budget.. Any other good phones available? Can't spend a paisa more than 10k :p

I would suggest taking a loan from parents and get a better device than making a compromise.

Got my Xolo X Edition 24th evening (as promised by snapdeal)
1. Built quality is really good for the price, feels soft in the hand. Normal weight.
2. Screen quality is really great, bright and crisp. But it's a bit too big for my liking, 4" would have been ideal (my personal preference)
3. Camera is really great. It's at par with Samsung Galaxy Grand (which is about twice the price and weighs a ton)
4. Sound quality is pretty low, you can't hear the phone ringing in noisy environments like when traveling in a bus. Tried some tweaks like Viper4android (yeah I rooted my Mobile :-D) but it doesn't seem to work. Haven't tested the earphones yet, so no comments, but it looks nice.
5. Battery is huge! Even though it's written 2100mAh li-ion battery everywhere in the box and in the websites but I found lithium-polymer battery inside the box  I don't know the difference between both :-/ (lazy to Google :p)
6. Android jelly bean 4.2.1 out of the box. There are few bugs with the OS though. We can't expect any kitkat I guess.
7. You know about the processor and ram I guess, it's fast. No lag at all. I haven't installed any games so far so can't say about how gaming is.
8. Weirdly there's no provision for adding a tag.
