well yes! its that auto update thingy which consumes data in YM...if u have a firewall then allow ym but dont allow "ym update" thing..

well i said about ads,insider,etc in yahoo. in pidgin there were no such problems

Just now checked. 30 KB Yahoo Messenger after signing in Main menu page showing about 15 off line contacts. Ads blocked.

Hello there, Some serious virus has effected my Yahoo messenger. It pops out some porn links to all my friends full time when i gets logged in. If they are also off line itpops out msgs. the status seems to be like written in other languages. How can i fix this problem. Any information about this would be great.
