I guess Admin added the title...its incorrect
I'm able to use yahoo messenger, but when i click on the yahoo mail alert the email windows opens with the default browser but yahoo messenger logs off by itself. After checking the mail i've to open the messenger again to make it active.
I don't use mobile to check mail at home when i use PC.
Re-installed messenger but of no use.
 
Ok... Are you logged into the chat of Yahoo Mail by default? Maybe try disabling that...

Got this email. Seems linked to the "Get the email you always wanted program", so before handing over any unused emails to others, they probably want to make sure its not in the contact list of others who might mail on a later occasion. Ofcourse, they cannot do much about people on other platforms holding on to those email IDs in their contact list and accidentally mailing them later.
