I used it for few hours and i am really disappointed . Got 2 runtime errors within 2 hours of usage . It still has a problem where on slow connection is shows something like server is busy try after sometime while at the same time meebo or pidgin logs in just fine . Its just a bit more eye candy . In theory it might have got little more compatibility for vista ( except Shushubh's ) but on xp this version is just a bunch of eye candy

Its definitely not a Eye Candy if u compare it to the much awaited Vista version (Yahoo! Messenger for Windows Vista) of Yahoo Messenger.......

looks like eye candy to me, would take forever to scroll through that list if you had many contacts, avatars and all.I'm still on trill 2, with megacontacts and all, dont care how many ids ppl have on diff messengers, they all show up as *ONE* entry only. Text is all i need, most of the time. never got any viruses via IM either, since i aint using the offical mesenger app

Its not difficult if u hide Offline friends (which I do).......... Online list of friends is not more than 10 at a given time, atleast for me! Its almost a year when Yahoo! had announced the vista version of its messenger, donno when they will actually release it, Yahoo! is also becoming another Microsoft...........

teething probs with vista..hardly surprsing...s'why i wont touch it till SP2 comes out.

its a beta! its a shame that vista took so long to come out and yahoo still has not come out with their vista edition
