Start/network/Lan/properties/ TCP/IP
Properties/ Advanced /WINS
Also subnet mask to 255.255.255.0
Question 1: Have you connected USB cable and LAN cable to SAME computer ?
Disconnect USB connection.
Question 2 :
Confirm you cannot access YM through link Yahoo! Messenger for the Webin IE or FF.
