you get charged for everything. even pings. any data that is sent from your computer to the web and reverse is charged.

Hi admin if this is so why does the reminder BBND IS LYING IDLE DU U WNT TO DISCONNET flash ,i think it means that the bbnd doesnt get utilised- i mean ONLY FOR THE DURATION WHEN IM USING A VIDEOCAM MODE AND TALKING TO SUMONE and not when opening or closing the skype page when of course it gets added to my MBs.please clarify

Well do you use ppoe or Bridging.... wall::wall: whats that... hebrew....)Do you dial a connection or just switch on/off the modem to connect.If you use a dialer. then check the total data transfered in the connection status window..... That will be a very accurate estimation of the data you are being charged/measured for.If your using the modem on/off technique then BSNL portal might be the best bet you have..... (Looking at ur previous posts...... )Lets understand that you are charged for Data Trasfer not Download/Upload.To keep a connection alive some amount of data is transfred always. Try this....Conect..... dont use(no sufing no downloading nthing..... just leave he LAPTOP alone)...after one minute disconnect now check the useage the next time u connect.Data is tranfered when you connect..... you login info is sent to the server.... even that is charged......Else........ thrs a simple way to see it....Do what you wan to... I wont pay the bill........

thats right.. even when you dont use your pc for a long time but keep it on , some amount of data will be transferred..

HI there,

I am getting a new problem in my Cyber Cafe. In each of my system.. When someone using Yahoo Messenger for chatting.. Yahoo Messenger keeps signing in and signing out automatically.

I have checked each and every option from my end.. but koi fayda nhi hua.

Also i am getting problem to open few of the sites.. like :: www.mp3hungama.com
The site is not opening on any of the PC using DATAONE.

I guess i have to change the MTU Settings for the modem.. but i didnt get any option of MTU in my Modem.. I am using ZTE ZXDSL 531B modem.

Please guide me regarding to solve such problems...

Disable wireless and try.

3.To try to modify MTU

Yaa Computers are connected in LAN Mode.i am getting the problem with Yahoo Messenger, whether Wireless is ON or OFF..There is no problem with Yahoo Messenger WEB ADDITION.But mjost of the customers prefer to use Yahoo Messenger to use CHAT ROOM features or to use voice options.. and messenger keeps signing in or out.I want the solution to this problem.

1.Update YM version in one computer and test.

2.try opendns 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222
Enter in the modem.
In all computers obtain Ip address automatically.
Dns enter opendns.

3.try
start run cmd type tracert www. example www.google.com ( yahoo messenger website address)
give feedback.
