yahoo messenger 10 has social networking features and improved video calling.

Anybody tried new features in video calling. If so please share the experience.

No. And unlikely that it will soon. infact what I wonder is Yahoo 10 will bring new protocol which means, older protocol may be deprecated. Although it will take time but within a year, Pidgin may stop functioning again

Isn't this a result of the tie up with Bing?

the deal requires approval from the regulatory bodies. so it is yet to be implemented. yahoo is just working on their own search user interface to stay relevant. the company has already clarified that they would remain a search engine rival. bing would provide the backend technology. frontend would be theirs. and they aim to beat bing on that front. google of course is hard to catch.
