Go to manage applications, choose aviate and clear data

tried that, it was creating only a small square of the image occupying 50% of the empty space

I don't think it'll occupy all the space Maybe remove all widgets and add the pic first? And share screenshots.

No I meant it was too small. Anyway cleared data and started over.

There is no provision for full screen wallpaper like we are used to. Also, no folders and no icons by default for calling n messaging on the home screen.
