The Overlimit facility allows you to complete transactions even when the transaction amount exceeds your assigned credit limit, up to a permissible threshold determined by the Bank. This ensures uninterrupted usage, especially during urgent or high‑value purchase requirements.

The applicable overlimit eligibility and amount will depend on the customer’s credit profile, repayment behavior, and internal risk parameters.

Standard Overlimit charges are INR 550 plus applicable GST (as per the Credit Card MITC and Schedule of Charges) will apply for any transaction that exceeds the assigned credit limit.

Important Update: New Password Format for Credit Card Statements (Effective July 2026)
Dear Customer,
We are making an important change to the way you access your YES BANK Credit Card Statements. Our aim is to make your experience simpler and more secure.
What is Changing?
Starting July 2026, statements will be secured using a new password format: Your Date of Birth (DDMMYYYY).
Example: If your Date of Birth is 27 August 1980, your password will be 27081980.
Important - Before vs. After July 2026
To ensure clarity, please note the following:
Statements generated before July 2026:
Please use the existing password format (i.e. First four letters of the customer's name in uppercase + date of birth in DDMM), even if the file is accessed after July 2026
Statements generated in or after July 2026:
Use the password in new password format i.e. Date of Birth (DDMMYYYY).
Illustrative Examples
If you try to open your January 2026 e-statement already received in your email, the old password format (i.e. First four letters of the customer's name in uppercase + date of birth in DDMM) will be applicable.
If you download the January 2026 statement again in or after July 26, the new password format (Date of Birth in DDMMYYYY) will be applicable as the statement is newly generated.
We recommend saving this update for your reference to ensure uninterrupted access to your statements.
Sincerely,
YES BANK
