Malgudi Days. simple and sweet.
The Quality and Standard of rest of world seems to be increasing while Indian Television standards are waning... show by show.... nothing worth even mentioning from the present Indian ones... 
Dexter from present time and Chanakya from oldies on India tele... (Though also like the ones mentioned ^ including frns and 2 and half men)

I always like the Dexter opening but for some reason I feel hungry after watching it 
... All time fav is "I'll be there for you" from Friends 
...

DD would still do pretty good, if they telecast these classics... there is an entire generation of audience who wud appreciate the quality...

Even I would like to see the old Karamchand episodes - Unfortunately not there. However I do know that a few of them were taken from Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot books & I enjoy the books as well

Well they are showing a couple like byomkesh bakshi on DD
The problem is that the numbers are too less for them to seriously think about it...
