YouTube Premium Family Plan: Android vs. iOS

Google is charging 189 for this plan. But it costs 249 for Apple iOS users. My question is... If the family manager is using Android, and members are using iOS... How much does it cost? I assume it would be 189? Coz Apple would not be the payment processor. So logically... Make the family manager someone using an Android device. Savings are substantial.

Would be great if someone in such a situation can confirm!

so twitter indicates that they are now enforcing living in same house restriction on family plans. do tell if anyone gets a mail from youtube.

it's the same issue as netflix. netflix regularly gives issues coz there are different wifis on different floors.

also this seems to be mostly reported by international channels so might not be enforced in india right now. would find sooner than later.
