nytimes is using perspective on their website. supposed to be very good. there is also a paid plugin for xenforo. but it makes a lot of sense for public platforms like youtube. where people can just set their own custom value. comments under it are hidden for them!
All social media platform should provide users to have custom word filter list to limit the toxicity on their profile/page/channel. There are so many trolls its impossible to block them.
may be social media platforms could create their own word lists(they already have much sophisticate tools to analyse user behavior) and give their users a rating based upon their posts. So pages/channels/users can restrict people with below a certain rating from participating in discussions.
this dude used to do stand ups on politicians so he has got trolls following him ofcourse. maybe they moderated that video well but generally this dude has trolls belonging to certain saffron party following him everywhere
