Nice post, Thanks buddy, As I can see you are using LD650 LCD with DishTru HD
I am using the same & would need your insights. I have been experiencing small issues with the picture quality:
1. Dotted pictures on almost all new HD channels like HBO, AXN, TLC. Picture quality is as bad as a normal SD channels. May be 5-10% better at best
2. Dots on ESPN/Star sports broadcast when the picture is panned away i.e not zoomed and is with a black background.
Are you facing these issues as well. I can see dots on Razak's (dnt rem his spellings) picture above which you have uploaded.

Its easy, coz for the others, THEY DO NOT HAVE THE EQUIPMENT TO PROVIDE TRUE HD STUFF.......do u expect daily soap people to buy HD Cams for showing a few actresses cry all day long??

And just by seeing the quality difference, any1 can make out its Upscaled.....
U compare Star Cricket v Star Cricket HD on 1 side
and
Zee TV v Zee TV HD on the other......
U will notice that there's big difference in the 1st comparison & hardly something in the 2nd.....try out once.
Am I right is saying I diff is only 5% at best. HBO HD, AXN HD looks crap with lots of dots/ pixellation

Change your aspect ratio to 4:3 and notice if the display looks better than 16:9.
If it looks better at 4:3, you are viewing up scaled channels and that's not TrueHD.
Hey I am getting some grainy dots in far camera sceens on Dish Tru HD. whats wrong or is this normal? Dots as visible on second pic however only on distance camera view.
