Hey guyz, Off late I'd been having this problem with Discovery channel (Audio) not being broad casted in English but Hindi alone. Well I prefer to listen to the English narration as its more authentic and I can understand that better. After reporting problem now I get a very damn feeble sound in that channel. Also I hear an Echo in Animal Planet... My TV says its turning the Audio Signal into Surround Sound.. Doesn't happen with any other channel. And even in channels like Cartoon Network, Pogo, Animax, etc... Hindi narration is loud and clear while English narration is very very feeble. For eg. In my TV for Hindi Narration I can hear when volume is 10 out of 100, whereas, for English Narration I have to raise it to atleast 25 out of 100 in order to listen to what is going on... Any solutions to these problem? Is it the fault of my TV or all u guyz facing this problem?Regards,Amuthan.

Dear Hindi narration of any program is done at the channels broadcaster's end and after that they will telecast that , i Think dishtv has nothing to do in this as its not from dishtv's end...what i suppose...may be i am wrong not sure.

Hi dude:P.... here also the same prob yaar....:wall:.... i think audio feed depends upon the souce transmission....nothing can be done.....anyhow u have up to 100 units of volume.... y u r worrying.... everyone has the same problem.... relax and enjoy the multilingual audio feature........as this feature is not in our local cable wallas....network:hysterical:!!!

True... In local cablewalla's network I get English Feed for Discovery, Animal planet and other infotainment channels while I get regional feed for Cartoon channels... Listening to Tom and Jerry or Popeye in Tamil/Telugu is not as good as English... Anyhow the main reason is when ppl switch channels from Nat Geo to any other the volume goes up and again we have to reduce it using the TV's remote control. I suggest they setup the Audio Gain level before broadcast such that all channels have same volume it'd be a pleasure to view! :P Is that feasible? While we were hooked to cable the volumes on all the channels were low irrespective of broadcasting feed so we had no problem while shifting channels and the Auto Volume Leveler came in handy... Suggestions plz...
