Yes the reason for taking such drastic step is competiton regardless of which Dish tv can loose its customers.
well, I think Dishtv is growing quite fastly as compared with Tata Sky and other DTH, They now have around 6.5 million subscribers, Dishtv is not going to loose their customersinfact they are adding up new customer quite aggressively. Further its Tata Sky who have recently lost its No.2 Spot to Sun Direct and moved to No.3 now which i think will further lost No.3 spot soon as well.
