I recharged a month ago, it was i think Rs.383 for platinum plan.I was getting reminders to renew the plan by 8th Dec now, I did it on 6th Dec itself thru credit card also paid Rs.6-8 which was shown as outstanding due to unknown reason. And to my surprise i got renewed for only 20 days.WHAT SHIT IS THIS.called up customer care and they say, your account was expired on 5th itself and you were on grace period. If my account expired on 5th, why all those 5+ SMS everyday mentioned 8th.customer care guys says, "sir it was wrongly updated your renewal date is 5th, and now onwards it will be corrected"who's problem is this, subscriber, do they expect their customers to don't believe the Renewal date shown in invoice and SMS.and for Rs.20 they deducted 10 days viewing, this is DAY LIGHT Robbery. NOW I HATE DISH TV and CURSE myself for being a loyal customer of DISH TV for :-1). incorrect Billing, this starts when a company starts playing with figures.2). STUPID LOGO on channels, this Hides Stock tickers on business channels3). A very confusing website, some pages are from Ancient history, and some from future, click what will take you where this only those stupid designers know who handle such a Big Group's Website in a very un-professional way. did they got this website done as a class project from any computer institute to save on cost :hysterical:4). hate the switching time between channels.I am done with this now.

what was the date of your last recharge before the one you did on Dec 6was it 5th nov or some other day??

Account related query should be sorted out properly and reason for charges should be mentioned appropiately wrong updates mislead customers:mad:

Such probs keep happening with Dish TV. They are very unprofessional when it comes to customer service. As for me, I have luckily never faced such situations. In your case, I suggest you keep a proper track of the package you are activating and the amount of money you are paying. These days, dealers do not accept exact package prices, instead they take a rounded-off price figure which in turn is adjusted in no of 'viewable' days. The minimum amount to be paid is : Rs.400.If you choose :Only Platinum pack and no a-la-cartes : 38 days,Platinum + Colors : 35 days,Platinum + UTV : 35 days,Platinum + Colors + UTV : 33 days.Your renewal date will be extended accordingly, in case there are any errors, bring it to the immediate notice of CC who will rectify it. And always keep checking your Dish TV account online to be updated about your next renewal date.

Yes local dealers have bad habbit of rounding off figures to their convenience. The website should provide proper update and intimation also regular checks is important.
