Zee Dish TV DTH: Kaon STB - Restore Factory setting

I have done the Restore factory setting for the Kaon STB and it has completely changed the software - similar to the one in Zenega STB. But 22 Channels were completely missing from one TP, but the signal strenght is good. I tried to rescan many times, but they did not come back. I noticed that my Firmware version is lesser than the latest one which of Zenega - my friend is having. The version in his STB is V.4.18-1.47. I tried to do Software upgrade OTA. Even after that the firmware is not updated. I doubt, may be because of this the 22 channels are missing.Can any one tell me how to upgrade my firmware version to the latest one. Is it possible to connect to another STB and upgrade. If so, what the required cables and how to do it?

If you are using Dish TV from middle east, there's very chance that you need to have a large Ku band dish and the normal one's provided would not be sufficient. I think may be because of that you would have lost one TP's signal.

No. How come this can happen all of a sudden after this factory resetting. In fact, the signal strength is high for this TP. So ther is no question of Dish size and already the dish size is 110 CM.

Well then you need to check with Dish TV only I suppose. You already mentioned its not upgrading to the latest firmware as in Zenega, then it may be the limitation of Kaon STB model itself.
