i paid online using the credit card at around 4 am... the connection was back online by 6 am
in Tata Sky it comes back in 10 mins maximum.:thumb:

well the point is that it worked. thats good enough. it's zee after all.
that is the problem we have in India, We get satisfied so soon and with so little. Why are we not very demanding? Customer is the king across the world except India.

the point is... with most services thing dont work. here it worked. actually it worked better than what they said on the phone. i would have issues if they had taken 24 hours to process my request. 2 hours is pretty acceptable considering if i had to go to the nearest dish tv dealer, he would have taken a lot more time to activate my connection!

Well i dont agree with you on this. If you have paid fully then why wait for 2 hrs also? Again repeating that we get satisfied too soon and too casually. That is why the service standards are so low in India

umm coz they have to deliver the signals through the satellite to the STBs in our homes?
compared that to mobile and telephone connections. how fast as they restored once you pay up to get it re-activated?
by the way Tata Sky is also satellite channle service and they do it maximum 10 minutes so it is very clear that it has nothing do with satellite but their back end systems are not very strong.
