ZITA Telecom Broadband Kolkata Updates

Hello everyone , so there is a new ISP in Kolkata named Zita Telecom and since I will be visiting Kolkata for some period of time and knowing the pathetic situation of local ISPs it would be helpful to know your experiences about this broadband service in 2025? I'm looking to go for new local ISP's and ZITA has pretty good plans with no hidden FUP moreover they even have IPTV services. Thanks

Yes that I know, but a bit skeptical to move forward with this since its very fresh in Kolkata broadband market , and google reviews says otherwise. Did you heard about this in locality @SayantaN ? I know alliance is moving pretty good with again mixed reviews or wishnet or meghbela

@Kaiju404 im also looking to add a third connection to my setup to reach >1gbps on my home network. how much u paying for your connection if you are on it. Do they give ipv6 address?

Currently paying 1200₹ pm (incl GST) for 500Mbps connection, all pricing are LCO dependent above 300 Mbps so got to negotiate and additionally one time dual band router charge took 1k where 500₹ was adjusted in next month since LCO is onboarding customers in my area. Also 50% offers are going on, so you an try it.

However sadly no IPv6 is provided, but line is sturdy, hardly gave any downtime except 1 or 2 times for half an hour & restored very fast. Best part is No OTT bs, though one can buy as add on again LCO dependent.

okay i have sent my address to a number they gave me from their CC. Once i get the LCO deets ill try to negotiate 500mbps for 3k quarterly or something. btw are they providing static ip or pppoe for config?

ok, I have also added one CC number in case reqd.
500Mbps for 3k brother/sister it will be historic fight but do know one thing you will have to commit quarterly and prepaid is taken along with Router charges. They gave me a Digisol xpon ont yes its a pppoe connection. There is a new Wi-Fi 6 bundled router just launched can enquire about it as well.

i have enough dumb xpon onus. Just need cheap bandwidth. Got separate wifi 6 APs in each room. If you are on PPPoE try enabling ipv6, Local Lcos know no better if you ask em theyll tell you they dont support that but ISPs almost always support it.
