BSNL was in talks with Jio and Airtel for sharing their unused fibre a few days ago, so let's hope they come up soon with the required infra on a pan-India basis. 8 Mbps does sound a little far fetched for me at least since I am around 3 kms from the exchange and I barely got 3-3.5 Mbps on a 4 Mbps previously. Reckon BSNL has no option but to elevate their game since their 4g service is still in the pipeline and broadband is their main revenue generator.
Happy browsing might be extended until December 31 though I have no confirmed news on that but a chat with my circle JTO indicated that it might be the case since the BB249 plan had it's validity extended until December 31 already. This might attract more customers.
Bsnl should scrap all existing plans and make 8mbps for 800 rupees unlimited 4mbps unlimited for 500 rupees 2mbps unlimited for 300 rupees.whats use of providing various plans with cup of 10 gb 20 gb 30 gb 40 gb?. Data should be more than 100 gb for starting plans if there is fup
