@SVK
  • 3CA is available on Snapdragon SD821, SD835, SD845, Exynos 8895 Octa and Exynos 9810 Octa devices.
  • There must be compatible antenna arrangement inside the phone
  • The manufacturer must be aware of 3CA configuration and should have added support for Jio's 3CA implementation.
When all the above conditions are met, you will get 3CA on your phone.

@d5aqoëp Do you know if these conditions are met in iPhone X ?

@Dhiraj

On iPhone (Indian version with Intel Modem)
*3001#12345#* and tap Call. Enter Field Mode
There you can see CA status.

Right now there is no documentation whether 3CA is supported or not on iPhones. To be honest, the Intel modem on Indian iPhone X, 8 & 8 Plus is least capable maxing out at 600 Mbps theoretical speed compared to Qualcomm ones. I cannot check for iPhone X, however my iPhone 7 Plus shows B5+B3 so 2CA is activated that I am sure.

After Oreo update, sometime I see LTE+ in notification area, so I was assuming my Moto Z Play has 3CA.
Most of time only LTE is displayed, only sometimes LTE+ appears.

@nikhil are you getting 3CA after a recent update or from the very first day? I am Asking this because most of the users claiming over the net that they are not getting CA in RN5P

@Saifi2649 Wait for next update of MiUI. 3CA and Dual VoLTE doesn't work in stable MiUi but works well in MiUi as well as on Custom Rom (RR). So I guess it's not enabled in stable rom.

Thank you for your reply I assume you are a rooted device user kindly post some screenshots from network Signal guru app too
