Rumored Reliance Jio Fiber Broadband Plans

If I remember correct, there were some news that Landline Porting might be live one day. But at this point, there is none.

Specially, the operator for the Landline are two mainstream.

MTNL and Airtel. (Not sure about other states)

Airtel provides shifting, not sure about porting.

There is a reason why they are called rumours. I am not a Jio employee. Preview offer will be over once the services are launched commercially. I am using this connection for more than 2 yrs now.
You also need to read the forum because many questions are repetitive. I am able to use LL services and calls to all network works. Voice quality is good as VoIP.
You cannot port or choose number to LL yet. In future I do not know if it will be available. (The number can still be choosen using a trick which will not be disclosed.)
Gigafiber number works.
And all these questions are worthless if your area is not ready for action.
You said you are using Jio GigaFiber since 2 years. So the new Jio GigaFiber black colour ONT is your 2nd connection?

Can you tell which is better black or white and which should I choose if I have option? Tomorrow, I have to pay Rs4500 security deposit to Jio Agent and I will get connection. Thats why I am asking.

Jio fibre is down since yesterday. Red light blinking continuously. Raised a complaint and was told someone will visit today by 5 PM. No one did. Called in morning and confirmed. Called now and now the visit has been moved to tomorrow afternoon. Disappointing. My Airtel connection never ever stopped working in my 8 months of use and Jio has stopped working in just 7 days.. seems disconnecting the airtel connection wasn't a wise decision :(

Incorrect. You can port your mtnl number to Airtel landline.

Never faced such an issue. Did you ask your neighbours? Maybe some OLT work is on in your area.

@undercover My information about Porting is 1-2 years old to be honest. I never really required Landline Porting since I left MTNL almost 13-15 years back. I am Airtel's customer since then.

If I might required porting now would be Airtel to Tata or Airtel to Jio (and that too depends if I want to keep Airtel + JioFiber or Airtel + Jio or Excitel + Tata or Excitel + Jio).

I most probably will keep Airtel > Excitel.

So might not require porting.

Well, If you use Landline for Business Purposes. It's really hard to change it.

Secondly, in Delhi I'm not sure how is your in-house network but in the North Delhi. The in-house Mobile Network is non-existing unless you're on top floors.
