Carrier Aggregation on Airtel 4G LTE

Even vodafone is doing the same speed does not go above 55Mbps where as on same site with idea sim speed was 70Mbps

Jio's VoWiFi Accidentally worked for me. Going through all the screenshots backed up in Google finding old stuff .

Jio is spoiling the name of 4G.Not able to get more than 40Mbps even with 3CA with best signal even in morning hours.Even site was backhauled by fiber.
When phone is first registered on the site speed is very high for few seconds

And after that speed does not go even 40Mbps.

I don,t understand the use of 3CA if indian operators cap speed to this level.

Looks like speeds are capped due to low customers in that area. Looking at the rsrq and don't the load on the site is too small.

Airtel Broadband. That phone had signal issues for Band 40 so VoLTE used to go off often I was playing with the WiFi calling switch and it got connected suddenly. Was abled to call only Jio to Jio but Voice quality was very better than VoLTE. Even Video calling worked.

No i did the speed test during morning. In peak hours that site rsrq also becomes -9 to -12.AND its not with that site only in other places also speed is same.Earlier i used to think that jio has done this to manage traffic in peak hours but today in morning also same result.That site also has fiber fackhaul.

Try Doing speed test on 2 phones simultaneously see the results. I've tried that here on 2CA and 3CA it gives 60 Mbps and 80 Mbps respectively.

Airtel 2G at rural site.

Tower

4G equipments are very smaller compared to older 3G and 2G equipments also they take very much power at sites. At that site Airtel took fiber backhaul through BSNL as told by technician.

So Even with the Fiber Backhaul Airtel towers become that much slow during peak hours?

i think only jio is periodically maintaining their towers in airtel when site is new speed is good but in old sites speed is not that good even in morning.
