In our society, Airtel Fiber was only launched 9 days ago!!

When on the Gigabit plan I would get D 350 U 900. So I changed to 300 plan and I get D 350 U 300-350. But now in the app I see no reason to go back to Gigabit, why is that?

It means that your area now only support upto 300mbps per user.

I have Nokia modem so cannot tell about huawei

The modem is in bridge mode. WLAN is disabled.
Internet is working.

If I connect to ethernet, 192.168.1.1 doesn’t work. If I connect to router SSID, 192.168.1.1 doesn’t work. Earlier when WLAN was enabled, I could connect to modem SSID to access 192.168.1.1. Pls advise.

Switch off orbi router and then connect to Huawei router directly through ethernet cable and then try accessing admin panel

I connected directly to Huawei via Ethernet. Didn’t work.

Others in my area are able to see option to upgrade to Gigabit.

This is my first month. I was on Gigabit. Then I changed to 300 Mbps. Is it possible I will see the option for Gigabit only in the next billing cycle? Others in my area see Gigabit option as have never changed from a Gigabit plan yet.

Did you restarted Huawei router first before connecting ethernet cable ?

I can try. The issue is Huawei is in bridge mode. So DHCP/routing is probably off. How will it give an IP?
