I was charged 3000 for the Syrotech ONT and 777 for the plan. Total 3777.
They were however willing to configure the Huawei HG8546 ONT if I had one of my own. I couldn't procure one due to the lockdown.

Yes, it happened even when I procured fibre connection. 777 plan doesnt shows many time in there systems because bsnl keeps discontinuing the plan and again introducing it. And that plan when opted stays only for 6 months. After 6 months you automatically get converted to 849 plan. So not much of a useful plan

@Rahul Kalani actually they have this plan in their system , but if u insist ur JTO they can continue it
When i visited the exchange last year and asked for disconnection , the guy in exchange said dont worry we still have 777 plan and at that time 777 plan was discontinued and new plan was introduced .
So its all in their hands .... sometimes they dont want to work ,,needs coordination (actually time waste) :p

My Ipv4 starts with 117
Ipv6 no luck sadly. It's blank. I will ask the JTO if they know anything about it. :D

Had enabled dual mode Ipv4/V6 and DhCp PD
Yep that's a good start. Or you could ask the up head office if they did start rolling ipv6.
I had interaction with two of my JTO Both didn't have any idea about this so called ipv6. You might have to contact head office, or if you are lucky and the JTO is a knowledgable person he might give you some info. 👍

Okay thanks for the input, after much coaxing on WhatsApp one of them has said that they will move me to 777 plan once it's visible at their end.

I tried this with BSNL BB, asked for a Promo plan which I didn't know about, but came to know about later. So at first I was denied because I wasn't technically a new user but with much request they put me on the promo plan.
