A bit off topic but i don't think I'll be renewing my Hotstar premium subscription as they have increased the price by 50% for adding some kids shows and movies from disney.
I was contemplating switching to hotstar vip (for sports) from premium because the image quality provided is the absolute worst among the leading streaming platforms. I mean its laughably bad , try watching the walking dead on hotstar its like watching a bootleg screener version of the show.
Shame cause they have a very impressive catalogue of shows and movies.

Please keep in mind, VIP subscription will give you only 720p resolution. Premium subscription will give you 1080p. 1080p itself has low bit rate so just imagine how 720p would be.
Hotstar is a decent value for money if you are watching on the web or on a hd tv. though things are likely to change a lot this year as they lose deals with disney competitors. i just like the ability to be able to watch latest episodes of show with subtitles early in the morning. subtitle services have become too slow these days. some shows you get subs even before t is out. others are released with a delay of more than 24 hours at times.
