I applied for Airtel Xstream fiber a few days back and yesterday i got call from airtel, i told them that their plans are not feasible and if they are offering unlimited data without 299 then i would consider it. I again got a call from the same guy just now and he told me that Airtel have changed their plans and are now offering unlimited data on all plans without paying 299 extra. Now i am thinking about switching to airtel as Jio is not available in my area.

They had 100mbps unlimited 1100rs plan in Dehradun before and now they have changed and brought in 299rs options and changed plans to low fup
So anything they are adding it throughout India not removing it

lol. i think airtel just messed up by removing retention plans in recent months. it was a nice scam going in the background where they retained high value customers by offering them discounts. now they are letting people leave.
so the only option they have is to restart the scam and start offering retention plans again to customers calling in for disconnection. or lower prices for every one.
because they now seem to have uniform plans across individual cities. i think few years ago, they actually had different plans in different parts of the cities based on how much competition existed in those areas.

Guys, Anyone sure about this news? I am holding up my 6 months renewal which is due next week.
I am planning to take new connection if its only for new customers.
Jio is not offered in our area in Pune so Airtel is the only reliable alternative for now.
I have msged my local area Airtel guy, lets see if he has some news.
