Use Syrotech Wifi ONU as wifi Repeater/Extender

I have shifted to jio fiber but before that I was using BSNL FTTH
I want to know if there is there any way that I can use my old Syrotech ONU (Device Model: SY-GPON-1110-WDONT) as wifi Repeater/extender to my jio fiber connection.

And if it's not possible what's the best thing that I can possibly do?

Connect both routers using ethernet cable.
Turn off DHCP in your Syrotech.
Disable upnp.
You're done

Should I reset the Syrotech router beforehand?

TLDR: You don't need to reset.

Does it have WAN configured? Still it's fine.

You can reset it if you don't want unused configs on your equipment . It doesn't matter but some people like it clean.

I just got a FTTH connection. I had a wifi extender with my adsl brodband which worked fine. i'm trying to configure my Extender with my new Syrotech FTTH router but it wont catch Signal. Tried Using my old ADSL router Digisol make as a repeater, it wont work either. plz help.

i have old Syrotech router and i connect it as a repeater in airtel fiber modem.
i have already Turn off DHCP
and Disable upnp.
internet is also working in my old sytotech router but the red los light is blinking how to stop this red light??
