Open NAT with G-2425G-A Nokia Router?

Does anyone know how to get Open NAT Type using G-2425G-A Nokia router? I enabled UPnP in the router, but my NAT Type is still Moderate. The only other way to get Open NAT is by Port Forwarding, but I don't want to manually open port for every other game.

For some people using your own router solved the issue, but I can't bridge the Nokia router since the WAN page is locked and even if I bridge one of the lan ports my router doesn't detect the Nokia router.

I called the Airtel Guy and he said just connect the cable from Nokia port to your router port without changing the port to bridge mode. This way it works, but I think I'm getting double Nat. My speed is lower than actual speeds and my NAT is still moderate...

Use Bridge mode on LAN 1, enter PPPoE details in your own router, your own router will receive a new public IP. I tried with LAN 4 it didn't work, same problem as yours no ethernet light, LAN 1 however worked for me.

Try to put different port of Nokia router in bridge mode and see which one will work. For me only port 1 worked. Others were able to use all the ports and some people have used port 4.

If none of the ports work, raise a ticket with Airtel

How do you raise a ticket? By calling 121? I called them and they seem clueless about Bridge mode.

I really wanna make the bridge mode method work before I go for the last resort DMZ method.

Yes, call 121. Even I found it difficult to explain them and they were clueless. I had to ask them to connect to their supervisor to get the ticket raised.

Okay I called them again and after 20 minutes of me trying to explain what I want to this person who doesn't know what I'm talking about. Raised a ticket under Issue: Speed not okay. So I guess we'll see how it goes.....

So yesterday they automatically resolved the issue without even calling me or anything. They didn't even call me to ask for the happy code.

I DM Airtel presence on Twitter in hopes somebody will know what I'm talking about.

Did you try to configure VLAN ID as 100 for internet in your own router ?(Not in the Nokia one supplied by Airtel).

I just enabled the bridge mode to port 4 in Nokia router and connected it to my own router WAN port(and VLAN 100 configured) and then entered pppoe settings in my own router. This setup works and you can disable wireless in your Nokia router if needed.
