Need some advice with strange router behaviour

Finally, it happened!!! Thanks to @Rickysin, @JB701 @igloo and others I got my net working on Archer C6 using WDS. Changing the channel for 5G ssid from auto to 44 did the trick. Now connection is stable and it is working good.
Getting similar speeds as on Nokia, now comes the installation of the router in the central room.

@Tejas01 if your ONT is new Nokia one then you cannot change channels i guess.
issue is that nokia in auto mode sets channel lik 64 and above depending on interference. And TP-Link might not support those channels in wds mode.

solution is :

either forcefully set the channel on nokia (there are threads in this forum which can show how its done)

or use etherner wire and connect tplink in access point mode

Any specific reason why tplink doesn't support lower channels in WDS mode?

Think TP-Link as xiaomi of routers. Looks tempting with price range but skips lot of features

Well then what brand do you think is VFM for that price range? [ Not a lot feature, but rock solid designed for whatever features it has]

Well value for money is TP-Link. No doubt.

but if you are buying tplink budget routers then do not complaint that this feature is missing and that is not working.

How did you change the Channel on Nokia modem to 44?

Under network-->wireless 5 hz-->right click channel and inspect element

<select name="wl_channel" class="form-control x-input-sm" disabled=""

Delete disabled=""
Now you can see different channels available and select which one you want.

ordered. had to replace a real old D-Link router and i had been looking for a cheap router with gigabit ports. this should work nicely.

damn. back to 2499 now. very happy with this purchase at 1700 tbh.

So a little review after using for two days...
I covers my entire flat with 5ghz wifi. Earlier, dead spots in individual rooms were not covered. Speeds are good too, though on Lan it has reduced from 120 to 93. Wonder if that much can be lost. I can move the router a little closer so that C6 gets more signal but for aesthetics, I am keeping it at original place.
This C6 serves good for a single storeyed flat. For multi-storeyed flats, better to go for Mercusys MR50G or C6 V2.

Speeds on Lan? You mean connected by wire? Maybe its negotiating at 10/100 instead of Gigabit.
