True AF! They just got spectrum to hold 500m subs not to provide speeds. But other hand Airtel did good job making B3 20MHz in TN and KA and also B8 for coverage

B3 deployment is little noticeable in Airtel Karnataka region I guess. I got 0.12 Mbps DL on the roof and Upload did not start before . Now I am getting 1 Mbps if keeping by the window . Whatsapp messages load now. Media does not load but I am happy. Hopefully we will get true 4G in the next 2-3 years

I think they were not focusing too much on 4g, their main intention is to introduce 5g much before others, so that's why they bought some spectrum just enough to tide over for a small period of time.

Also this 4g spectrum auction had happened much much late, it should have happened 2 years, before, and if that's the case the govt could have gone with 5g auction this year.
