My airtel connection is LCO based as far as I know. Regarding down time, it has happened once in the last 1 month since I've used airtel. It was because there was thunderstorm and a tree was uprooted which caused fiber damage. It took 18 hours to resolve. Other than that, connection is quite stable. Pings are still high though(higher than bsnl, can you imagine).

My internet is down since yesterday morning.
I had raised service request at 8 am. I got message that the service has been restored at 6pm when the network was still down . I had to re-raise the service request and it's still down. Now airtel has sent message that there are some technical difficulties and the connection will be restored by 6pm.

@iwantfreeinternet Did you contact the LCO first or directly raised a service request ? Is it a local issue or otherwise ?

It's not direct Airtel connection so Airtel doesn't care much about lco cities
