Since the US pricing is same as the S21 series during launch, it would be same here in India too.

Google tells me S21 series was priced at ₹69999 , ₹81999 and ₹105999.

Iirc they did. Not completely but I think they acquired the disign team. The OG Pixel was the first product post acquisition, with the squeeze to assistant feature that was an HTC feature.

@Nishant The Active Edge feature on the Pixel 2 devices was pretty amazing though.

And yeah, they did acquire the R&D team of HTC that was working on Pixel phones. I wonder what good came out of that acquisition.

Right. The OG Pixel designing and production was contracted to HTC. Acquisition happened later.
