Wow that looks awesome 
But deep down I was kind of hoping for newer plans too with the new site... I guess it's all happening to fresh funding. I hope They'll launch new plans soon to other cities. You know a strange thing? I called up their CC yesterday asking about 400 Mbps plan in other cities & he said Mumbai is also going to get 1Gbps speeds. I asked him about the plan but he said this hasn't been updated on their systems but users will be notified when it's available. Also regarding 400 Mbps plan to other cities he said our teams are working with regional providers for new plans & you'll be notified when they're live in your city by SMS. I don't know why but it feels like they're cooking a lot of good stuff under the umbrella of this finding
Now it's just wait and see for us how Jio, Airtel etc. Are going to react to all this (probably after 2-3 years) Because i feel excitel is going to have tremendous growth in the years ahead. Let me know what you guys think of this. Till then peace

They're really working on the site development, when I posted the link only Delhi NCR plans were visible but now I guess most of the cities are available except Mumbai.

Yes, they seem to be doing a lot of good work on site development. I felt the site is a bit clumsy for mobile viewing but as it's in development I guess when it goes official it'll be awesome
Upgrade in speeds, service & landline availability would definitely make them ahead of others like ACT.

Recently tested 400Mbps in Mumbai at a local Excitel Provider, it's an exclusive Tata upstream with latencies of about ~20ms to the nearest exchange, kinda high, yeah, and the usual <60-80Mbps single-threaded downloads.
Looking at their routes, it's obvious that it has not been optimized for the location yet.
Kinda disappointing I'd say since they also don't provide OTT options.
Wiring is the usual cheap way from building to building overhead wires, and direct cabling from the terrace to the flats. They are providing GX Router/ONU.
