Yeah weildy, mostly there are second model working in cities where LCO buys OLT and other equipments to provide internet.

ALso, I don't think I need over 30 Megs on the BSNL line...with 2 other ISP connections already done and a 4th on it's way (Jio) I am kinda spoilt for choice. You Broadband also approached the society/colony with their plans to wire up the place. ISP #5 LOL!

@Chip last night in dreams, I got TPBB, the ping to servers were 5-18ms, felt grea using it.

4th ie Jio hopefully in 2 months or so (permission granted) and You has approached the colony for permission to setup their connections.

@Chip will you try You Broadband? Nobody has shared detailed review of You Broadband In this forum. As they're expanding I'm hoping to have them here too. I hope they'll rebrand themselves as Vi fiber or Vi broadband whatever... I'll be happy to take their 1 Gig connection .

If Vi broadband introduces unlimited NON fup broadband plan just like mobile unlimited postpaid I'll surely get it installed

Whats the use case of having so many isps ?
Even if you want failover , 2 isps are sufficient, isn't it ?

BSNL just happened after they converted a decades old land line to fibre. As for other 2, some colony members prefer Jio to Airtel and TPBB...and for You BB too. To each his own. Thing is, one ISP screws up you have choice of upto 4 others. It's a win-win situation for the residents.

Having choice of multiple isps is different than having multiple isps installed in single household.
You have 3 isps installed , right ?
I am trying to find use case for the same for residential household
