I have an Huawei CPE Pro2 5G device even that hasn’t received any carrier update and also skeptical after all this Huawe tussle.

Have you actually tried this? is it just not working on airtel/jio 5g?
I have the cpe pro but it'll take another year for 5g to come here.

It's probably going to be iOS 16.1. The next beta might drop tonight at 10:30 pm.

I have the cpe pro but it'll take another year for 5g to come here.

I’m from Kolkata though 5G is not available in my area. I have applied for the welcome offer but not sure on the outcome of below points -
1. Does Huawei need to push a carrier update, if yes not sure AirTel / Jio will approach Huawei considering the ban
2. Will Jio / AirTel allow personal CPE’s to latch into their 5G network as this will be detrimental to their own 5G CPE device roadmap like Jio AirFiber
