It seems to be getting a minor update of 16MB already. And those wanting to root it can see this :D
STRANGE: Any new post to this thread is not reflected in the 'Recent Posts'

That's largely because I have to add new forums to that section manually and I almost always forget to do that.

There you go!
http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_x_x_and_xl_will_not_be_updated_to_x_platform_20_-news-8851.php

Microsoft is going to get a reputation if it keeps doing this – the new Nokia X2 brings a new version of the X platform (2.0) and with it the announcement that the current devices (X, X+ and XL) will not be updated.
...
Nokia X Platform 2.0 is based on Android API 18 (which corresponds to 4.3 Jelly Bean) and brings a number of changes to the UI. First, there are four tiles per line of the homescreen (up from three) and you can move tiles around and resize them.
The homescreen grew an additional pane – the tiles and Fastlane panes are joined by an app list, just like the one WP has. And as you've probably already noticed, the lonely Back button now has a Home button friend, "for simpler navigation"
I doubt if anybody here has Nokia X phone :D
Future News: Nokia X2 would not be compatible with Platform 3.0 because Platform 3.0 is based on Android 4.4 and it supports Onscreen button.

This is actually huge. Huge for Nokia and huge for Opera!
I had Nokia 2200, a very basic phone bought in 2010. When I first clicked browser icon, guess which browser really opened? it was Opera mini. I have surprised that Nokia is using Opera mini as default browser in phone. But that phone was never meant for internet browsing :D
