shutterstock.com loads perfectly alright on my end. I don't appear to have any issues with my downloads either, what sort of situations do you find your downloads not completing?

Well this is the case is I have ACT broadband 100 GB download option. I download a lot of torrents too but as of late every time I click on download say a 2mb file the status bar shows that it reached the end but never completes it. Now if I close the browser and cancel the download and connect to a VPN which changes my IP address the very same link automatically connects and downloads the complete file without any problem. Is this just me or am I the only one targeted???

Just wanted to share my experience. Applied for connection 2 days back (from Vinayak Nagar area) and I'm connected since yesterday. The technician installed the connection even when the house was locked. He left the wire till my window. :cool: So, I'd say customer care has been top notch so far.

Coming to the connection quality, I'd say I'm amazed again. Having used BSNL for last 4 years, and a short stint with Tikona, I was actually not hoping much in this department. But I'm pleasantly surprised so far.

20Mbps speed with ping ~3-4ms. Awesome!!! (I'm on ACT Blaze)

The only (small) thing I'm not liking is doing the login everyday. My router (Netgear N150) fails to connect when I put the user/password in the configuration page. I've to manually login to the site everyday.

I'll disconnect my BSNL connection, if ACT keep up this performance for one month(and I hope it does coz I can't go back to BSNL now:p)
 
I was waiting to get ACT from long but there was no connection in my area, finally last week there was a pamphlet on my apt, called the ACT rep # on that yesterday morning, the guy came in 1 hour's time, gave him the documents and cheque for 40 mbps connection, he promised me same day evening or next day installation.
Got a call in the evening around 8 and they were ready to install, got it wired in few mins and live on ACT Internet 40 mbp speed... couldn't believe the customer care was so good, I'm live in less than 24 hours on new connection while I still have BSNL which have been using for last 4 years..

so far speed looks terrific, let me check more and add more comments
 
These guys are so prompt in collecting the money, but they're not so prompt in getting the connection activated. The sales executive said the connection will be activated in 6 days, and then after the 6th day, the customer service officer said they need 4 more days. And it's been over 10 working days, the connection is not activated yet. So far 4 complaints have been raised to no avail. Hence posting as many reviews in as many forums, so people know how inconsistent these guys are..

My first impression of ACT - THESE GUYS DON'T DELIVER WHAT THEY PROMISE... Look for better network providers.
 
WORST Service I have ever seen. DONT Go For ACT.

I had requested ACT connection On Mar 9 2015 and Agent by Name Vinodh had come near my home and took money for the connection and left. I got a payment confirmation mail for registered mail id. They told they need to install a junction box in my home and I said yes. After a week one Saturday(Mar 14) they came and installed Junction box and when I asked about internet connection first they said in the evening someone will come. No body cam till Sunday. I called this agent he told he will get it done by Monday. Monday also no body turned up and I started calling the agent 4 5 times a day. He is not picking my call now. I raised compliant with customer care twice and every time they give false promise saying it will be resolved in 24 working hours. I got fed up and now I asked for cancellation and for refund.

ACT is BAD CONNECTION, PATHETIC SERVICE ,RUDE BEHAVIOR OF AGENTS

I am going to file a complaint if they don't refund me with in a week.

Dont ever go for this ACT

ACT Broadband is really irritating.. they waited outside my house for hours together to collect payment money for 6 months package.. after getting money nobody is to be seen.. their customer care is playing ball game saying this department that department...

Never go for ACT Connection... I am trying to get a refund of my money.. but looks like a task impossible..,. so for now i have lost my money with not connection for nearly a month,.,,

Once again... never go for ACT
 
I am greatly dissatisfied with the kind of service ACT BB are providing.
I raised an issue with customer care on 27th March stating that my ACT broadband is not working and I was provide with a Request No. 0004163536 and was told that the issue will be solved within 24 hours.
Today is 30th March and still by broadband is not working. And when I contacted the Customer Care they are telling that I May be solved my Tomorrow EOD.
I don't understand what does that mean and what kind of service you are providing. Not at all professional and I have never see such an Incompetent technical team. This is not the first time I am facing such issue before also I faced such issues and similarly those issues where also not solved in the given or committed time. I am facing this issue almost every month.
Kindly take some action or you are going to loose business. Even I am planning to go for other service providers if this kind of thinks continue. Not only me several others in our apartment are planning the same.
I am paying the amount which you have asked and in return I need a good service. Unfortunately it is not happening and we are loosing the patience. I am looking forward for a reply from you and Strongly hope that this will be escalated to the higher management people so that they can look into it and take action. I want my issue to be solved permanently.
