nothing new in your post other than to increase your post counts.. all of us here know that SUN DTH is launched only in South. It is little more in TN as it was launched there atleast month before it was launched in other States of South.

Do you have state wise figures?

1: The cablewala may not be giving all the Tamil channels, hence most of the tamilians opt for dun dth. Then sun dth subscriber base may be high in other southern states.

2: As dish tv also has a decent number of tamil channels, in addition to good hindi, english and sports channels, sun dth may not be attractive to the tamil lot.

3. Sun dth has a good start because of the low entry tariff; if it does not grow with a balanced mix of channels, it is cheaper to opt out os sun after the first year.

I am not critising him. See his replies. When we were talking about SD ad he says TS ad is coming and he saw that! That was in another thread. He goes on like this Brings and talks about TS in unrelated threads. Just see his reply and you can see his grudge against Sun dth and other DTH services other than Tata Sky I am sorry to say that but still as you asked I told you
