This assumes that BSNL / Airtel pays 999 to Amazon during the free one year subscription. Right?
My assumption is that Amazon gives away one year subscription to broadband customers (who can afford around 750 per month) of BSNL / Airtel. In this case, it would be Amazon that handles the subscription.
Of course, once the paid subscription starts, it'd be BSNL / Airtel that sends the subscription requests (and Amazon in turn is forced to fulfill the request and wait for the payment from BSNL / Airtel later).
