2 operating system

i m about to install openSUSE.i just wanna running 2 operating system affects system speed?or torrents speed? Because its taking more RAM.Currenty windows 7 is running on my PC waana install openSUSE.

are u going to run opensuse on a virtualbox within win 7? in that case u r utilizing ram for 2 OS'es. If u r installing it on another partition then it shud consume less resources. In any case it will not affect torrents/downloads. I have run win7 on virtualbox within ubuntu on 2GB of ram without any issues.

No, unless you run them simultaneously on VmWare or the likes, it won't affect system speed, or download speed.

^^yup...so no probs...it wont affect download speeds or RAM
