Ok, and that can be called "badal rahe hain hum"not just by adding few more channels and changing a logo.If they merge and change entire identity then it is real true "badal rahe hain hum" kind of stuff.Hope even if they merge, they add more channels and give us quality programs (not just stupid daily soaps and reality programs)

Even if they are not changing drastically, they are going to make a fuss of it. I guess television industry is all about making the fuss. You dont make it, no one is going to watch you.Imagine, you are making the threads, and that is what they want, free publicity, and rise in TRP. One has to be smart enough to understand the difference between the fuss and genuine content.

Moreover its the day after the IPL.. many people would have hangover of the IPL fever.. and many people would have lost the track of there daily soap..

They must change substantially if they want to grow. The best example of this is the starplus makeover from posh english channels to Saas Bahu crap channel:p

STAR PLUS didnt change. Its 'posh' English version continued as STAR WORLD, while STAR PLUS was converted to Hindi GEC for Asian market (inc India, Pakistan, Middle-East).About Sony, not sure if its INX take-over will happen, but chances are there, as it had taken over SAB TV few years back. Lots of experiment were done on SAB TV, by trying to change its comedy image to youth oriented. But as it failed, SAB was again converted to full 24 hours comedy channel. Now lets wait to see what happens to SONY after May 25...BTW is it only for SONY channel, or all channels of its group like Sony, SAB, MAX, PIX are changing after May 25?

Sony TV unveils new prime time line-up
Sony Entertainment Television Asia has announced details of it's new programming line-up ahead of the rollout of it's new positioning on Monday 25th May.
...
The channel has decided to overhaul its prime time programming as part of its drive to go up the ratings.
The revamp strategy involves the axing of all its weekday prime time content except its age-old shows 'Boogie Woogie' and 'CID'.
A new slate of five daily shows will surface from 25th May, playing out between 20:00-23:00. Sony has also lined up two new weekend shows, one of which is the return of 'Dus Ka Dum in season 2' with Salman Khan as the anchor.

From the promos of the new serials which I see, i don't think it is anything interesting at all.
