Tata Sky should add some Malayalam channels (atleast Asianet Plus and Manorama News). Only 7 Malayalam are available in TS :wall:.
some 6-7 yrs ago, cable operators used to provide 60-70 channels and people used to be happy with that...now DTH services are providing around 200 channels and people still complaining of less number of channels....weather they provide 200 or 300 or say 500 channels , i think in 90% of homes, TV viewing is always limited to maximum 20 channels...20-25 channels are watched regularly...so point in complaining

Cable provided less but targetted channels. DTH has to cater wider audience so they try to balance with providing channels on their popularity. But yet some customer may want specific channel (regional or sports or news) and they would be unhappy if channel is not available. For them rest 100-200 channels are waste if their desired channel is not available

Your answer is very meaningful. Cable has to provide regional channels in 2 or 3 three languages only.

As a Malayali, I want more Malayalam Channels than any other channels. I am not compel TS for adding all Malayalam channels. I know their situation. So atleast 10-12 Malayalam channels would be sufficient.
