Calcutta telephones failure for 512kbps @ 750UL (now 500/- for limited period offer). http://www.calcuttatelephones.com/tariff_broadband.shtml ** Due to some technical reason the promotional offer of upgradation of Bandwidth of UL750 and UL750 Plus Broadband Business Plan from 256 Kbps to 512 Kbps for the period 26.12.2008 to 25.03.2009 is CANCELLED. The speed is now about 226kbps.:madness: :wall:

They discover these technical issues after announcing the plans? This is the whole problem with BSNL. The left hand does not know what the right is doing. :wall:

Atleast they have promptly updated the website with details. We don't get any such benefits news in other states. The other state BSNL Portals don't bother to update too and the customer is left out in the Hell!

Btw, the defect in message is still there. Both Business and Home Plans mention same message "Due to some technical reason the promotional offer of upgradation of Bandwidth of UL750 and UL750 Plus Broadband Business Plan from 256 Kbps to 512 Kbps for the period 26.12.2008 to 25.03.2009 is CANCELLED." Both say Business Plan!!!
