So it’s only 24 hours away till we enter Feb 2025 ,1st of Feb means new EMF laws will come into effect which will let telecos use upto 5W power on 5G bts from the previous 1W

Im hoping to see network coverage improvements ,especially indoors since Jio 5G barely works when inside and you have to come to the window or something to latch on the 3500mhz 5G

But idk if it would actually improve i might be proved wrong i guess

I need a dongle/hotspot 5g device, seems no company is selling it officially. What are the alternatives ? That can work for a not so tech savvy person.
Mainly intended for office meetings calls etc.

@Smh I can't find any reliable sources of 5g hotspot in India, you are better off purchasing a 5G android phone under 10k and use it has hotspot

@Smh oh and don't take Airtel 5G they specifically block the 300gb 5g and would force 5G data consumption from 4G if they detect someone is using their phone with hotspot or something

For now, Jio doesn't do any of that and lets you use a lot of data

Jio directly blocks the 5G CPE/Hotspot devices IMEI from latching the 5G network when they find excess data usage

Buy a cheap android 5G phone with min Android 13, a USB C hub with Ethernet port and USB C PD in a cat 6 LAN cable and a gigabit router. Connect the phone to hub and hub LAN to router WAN via cat 6 cable. Turn on ethernet tethering on phone. Set up router normally and connect to router.
